1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.
2. Who This Applies To These terms apply to both free newsletter subscribers and paid course purchasers. Sections about payments, refunds, and paid course access apply only if you purchase our course.
3. Free Newsletter & Script Archive Newsletter subscription and access to the free Japanese script PDF archive are provided at no cost. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. Access to the script archive may be revoked if you unsubscribe or misuse the materials.
4. Paid Course Purchase (Applies Only to Purchasers) Course content is created and provided by Listening SHOGUN. Payment processing, billing, and tax collection are handled by Whop as Merchant of Record. By purchasing through Whop, you also agree to Whop's Buyer Terms. Whop may create buyer or membership records and send transactional emails related to your purchase, such as receipts, membership access updates, or cancellation notices. All courses are digital products delivered via online streaming. Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
5. Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase the paid course.
6. Intellectual Property All content, including videos, text, script PDFs, and study materials, is owned by Listening SHOGUN and protected by copyright law. You may use the materials for personal study. You may not redistribute, resell, or share access to paid course content or the subscriber-only script archive.
7. Limitation of Liability We provide the content "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our services.
8. Governing Law These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
